6000 sqf Home Renovation in Dallas

This project involved the complete renovation of a 6,000 sq ft home in Dallas, transforming it into a stunning Mediterranean-style residence. My role encompassed the full scope of architectural design, including all architectural drawings, site measurements, and the development of the demolition and renovation plans.

The core of this project was the innovative use of Unreal Engine to create a fully interactive 3D model, accessible to the client on any device through a web browser. This approach revolutionized the design process, granting the client full control and a deep understanding of the project’s details, which significantly accelerated decision-making. The interactive model also served as a crucial tool for communication between the client and the contractor, ensuring construction aligned perfectly with the design plans and simplifying project oversight.

Thanks to this streamlined process, the renovation was completed efficiently. The high level of control over both the design and construction phases helped avoid costly errors and reworks, saving the client significant time and money while delivering the exact result they had envisioned.

Task

The main task was to completely renovate a 6,000 sq ft house in Dallas in a Mediterranean style, using modern technologies. Special attention was paid to implementing a new design approach based on an interactive 3D model in Unreal Engine to avoid construction errors, ensure full control over the process, and, as a result, save the client time and money.
